International students work across hospitality, retail, customer service, administration, care, operations and many other sectors depending on experience, English, availability and immigration permission.<\/p>\n<h2>Start before you start applying<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Prepare a short, clear Irish-style CV.<\/li>\n<li>Make your availability easy to understand.<\/li>\n<li>Use a professional email address and Irish phone number once available.<\/li>\n<li>Adapt applications to the role.<\/li>\n<li>Practise introducing yourself and explaining your experience in English.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Where students search<\/h2>\n<p>Common job-search sites include <a href=\"https:\/\/ie.indeed.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Indeed Ireland<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishjobs.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IrishJobs<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jobs.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jobs.ie<\/a>. Networking, local businesses and recommendations can also be useful.<\/p>\n<h2>Don\u2019t measure success by the first week<\/h2>\n<p>Some students find work quickly; others need more time. Your previous experience, English, schedule, season and the local labour market all matter.
