Student Residence in Dublin

Residence is a more independent, self-catering option for adult students who want their own room while living alongside other international students.

Current residence model

The main residence used by ISI is in Stoneybatter, within walking distance of the school. Similar-quality properties may occasionally be used, so the exact residence and address are only final once Accommodation confirms the placement.

Who can book residence?

Student Residence is for students aged 18+. Current residence bookings use a single room with private ensuite bathroom and self-catering arrangement, subject to live availability and exact allocation.

Booking details

A refundable damage deposit applies. Residence availability is more time-sensitive than Host Family, so payment is normally required promptly after a place is confirmed.

For Academic Year students

As with Host Family, our normal long-stay recommendation is to organise the first 8 weeks and use that time to understand Dublin before deciding on the rest of the stay.
