Getting around Dublin
Where you live matters as much as the distance on a map. A good Dublin routine is built around real commute time, class schedule and the transport options available near your accommodation.
Plan around your daily route
Before choosing long-term accommodation, check how you would travel to ISI at the time your class actually starts and finishes. A room that looks cheaper may not feel cheaper if the commute is long or complicated.
Use public transport tools
Dublin’s public transport network includes bus, Luas tram and rail services. Use the official Transport for Ireland journey planner and Leap Card information for current routes, fares and eligibility.
Walking counts too
Central Dublin is compact enough that many students combine walking with public transport. When comparing accommodation, look at the whole journey rather than just the postcode.
