Long Stay Study Visa

If you are from a visa-required country and plan to study in Ireland for more than 90 days, Immigration Service Delivery classifies this as a Long Stay ‘D’ study visa route.

When can I apply?

The current official guidance says you may apply up to 3 months before your intended travel date. Applications are normally made from your home country or a country where you are legally resident.
