Accommodation in Dublin

Arrive with somewhere organised. Decide your next step from Dublin.

For Academic Year students, our normal recommendation is to organise your first 8 weeks of accommodation with ISI. That gives you time to settle in, understand the city and decide what works best for the rest of your stay.

Host Family

Live with a local host and experience everyday life in Dublin while you settle into your course.

Host families are visited by the ISI accommodation team in advance and Garda vetted.

Student Residence

A more independent, self-catering option for adult students. Residence accommodation is for students aged 18+ and is subject to exact availability and allocation.

Private Rent

Some long-stay students choose to look for a private room or shared accommodation after arrival. Our guide explains how to search carefully and understand the basics.

Why start with 8 weeks?

Searching for long-term accommodation is easier when you know the city, your class timetable, transport routes and the areas that suit your daily routine. Starting with ISI accommodation gives you a base while you learn how Dublin works.

Longer accommodation can sometimes be arranged, but exact availability, property and final placement always need confirmation.
