Do I need a visa?
Irish visa requirements are based primarily on nationality or, for refugees, the country that issued the travel document.
Long Stay Study Visa
If you are visa-required and plan to study in Ireland for more than 90 days, the relevant entry visa is normally a Long Stay ‘D’ study visa.
Financial evidence
Immigration requires students to show they can support themselves without relying on casual employment.
Arrival & IRP
Students who need to remain in Ireland for more than 90 days may also need to register their immigration permission after arrival.
